SBA Faculty Representatives Attend the 3rd 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Business Administration Case Workshop

From November 28th to 30th 2025, Associate Professor Fan Shuai, Director of the Management Case Research Center of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, led faculty representatives including Professor Liu Xinyan from the Department of Marketing Management and Associate Professor Li Keke from the Department of Business Administration to attend the 3rd 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Business Administration Case Workshop at Sun Yat-sen University and University of Macau. As a special guest, Director Fan Shuai hosted the themed session Case Research Methods: From Design to Publication. The workshop was guided by the National Steering Committee for Postgraduate Education in Business Administration, hosted by the School of Business of Sun Yat-sen University, co-organized by the Chan Sui Kau Asia Pacific Center for Case Development and Research and the Student Affairs Office, and co-sponsored by the Ivey Business School of Western University Canada, China Europe International Business School and the Faculty of Business Administration of University of Macau.



Nearly 100 scholars from universities and research institutions across the country participated in the workshop. Professor Hubert Pun from the Ivey Business School of Western University Canada was invited as the keynote speaker, delivering a series of lectures on paper preliminary review standards, case design principles and case teaching methods, and hosting the official Ivey certified case workshop. Experts including Professor Chen Shimin from China Europe International Business School, Professor Yin Juelin from Sun Yat-sen University and Senior Manager Yan Jiafang from the Asia Case Research Center of The University of Hong Kong also shared practical experiences on case submission strategies, research methods and teaching innovation.


During the three-day seminar, the SBA faculty team actively participated in various exchanges, conducting in-depth discussions with experts and scholars from China Europe International Business School, Sun Yat-sen University, The University of Hong Kong and University of Macau on case writing standards, teaching case development processes, classroom organization design and case innovation in the digital context. The participating teachers unanimously agreed that the workshop was informative and insightful, providing important enlightenment for deepening the SBA’s case research and teaching, and laying a solid foundation for future joint case development and teaching cooperation with universities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
