To strengthen faculty ethics and standardize research fund management, the School of Business Administration (SBA), Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL), held a Special Training on Research Fund Management and Faculty Ethics Warning Conference on 27th October, 2025. The meeting was chaired by Yu Xiaopeng, Party Secretary of SBA, and attended by the full school leadership team and all faculty and staff.

Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA and Director of the MBA Education Center, delivered a training session on the proper use of research funds. He explained relevant national policies, regulations, and disciplinary requirements, clarified the red lines, and analyzed typical cases.Dean Wu Haitao emphasized that research funds must be used compliantly, efficiently, and with integrity, and any violations will be reported to relevant departments.

Ge Ming, Deputy Party Secretary, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and Administrative Vice Dean of SBA, gave a faculty ethics warning report, sharing recent typical cases involving academic misconduct, improper use of research funds, and drunk driving, while mobilizing and deploying the next stage of ethics-building activities. All faculty and staff studied the Ten Standards of Professional Conduct for University Teachers in the New Era to further clarify behavior norms.

Dean Wu Haitao and Party SecretaryYu Xiaopeng also briefed participants on faculty recruitment progress, student enrollment arrangements, and alumni work, calling on all faculty to work together to promote the high-quality development of the school.
